Not a big fan of burgers but on some occasions I give in and have some of it anyway. The burger phase is back and it is stronger than ever. From a still growing fast food chains, we now have a long list of gourmet burger outlets too.
8 cuts takes burger in a whole new paradigm. There’s detail in their creations as seen in different blends of beef. They have House Blend (Short Rib and Rib Eye), Beef Bomb (Chuck and Short Rib), Steak Cut (Sirloin and Chuck), Big Game (Hanger and Brisket) and Ox Blend (Flank, Ox Tail and Rib Eye). Yes you can create your own burger here complete with choice of bun, toppings, cheese, sauces and even more toppings.
You can also choose from already made Tributes. My sister had the best selling 4 cheese which has parmesan, aged gruyere, yellow cheddar and mozarella. Its a good balance of light and strong flavored cheeses. This is made perfect to cheese fans.
Two friends shared a ‘normal’ cheeseburger. I had a bite and enjoyed the patty by itself. Surprisingly juicy and tasty as it is. Other burger hubs put more emphasis on toppings to create a vibrant taste.
I had a customized Grilled Chicken burger with jalapeño and tomatoes. This is not in the menu. I edited the deep fried version, Chicken Wich. If you can request the same this is an amazing pick. I enjoyed this a whole lot.
The Shrimp and Tomato Alfredo got our thumbs up for its well prepared pasta and sauce. They didn’t scrimp on ingredients here. Must have to pair with burgers.
I also had the Holiday Salad. It was meant to be shared but none of my other 3 companions actually eat vegetables. That was somehow okay as this was a winner. Strawberry bits, green leaves and feta cheese!
The only one that did not fly was the Crispy Sweet Potato fries. For me it was too oily and too thin.
