Agape in Greek, means unconditional love. The kind which is selfless and sacrificial. Weeks ago, I stumbled upon a place named Agape, a restaurant that serves primarily pastries and tartines. They also have breakfast, pizza, pasta and lots of breads and sweets.
During my visit, I first tried their Smoked Salmon and Caviar Tartine. It’s got Sliced smoked Salmon in a crusty Baguette, with Tomato, Onion and Basil, a drizzle of olive oil and Caviar. It was like edible art, a masterpiece of combinations of fine ingredients.
Next, I tried their 5 cheese. Imagine cream cheese, Ricotta, Cheddar, Blue Cheese, and Parmesan in a crunchy baguette with a drizzle of olive oil and oregano. We can never go wrong with lotsa cheese. Much more with 5 in a serving!
Is it possible to have Agape over food? To appreciate and be passionate on it? Yes, I think so.
