Ajisen Ramen, Banawe

Banawe is not your go to place in Quezon City when looking for new food. It’s strip mostly has franchised and mainstream restaurants. One of these is Ajisen Ramen, they currently have 5 stores.

The success of their Japanese lies on the balance of authenticity and affordability. They have a full range of offering besides Ramen. Here you can also dive in on Sushi, Gyoza, Tonkatsu and rice bowls.

I enjoyed my Chicken Teriyaki bowl a lot. It was a good move for me to have them take out its slimy and sticky chicken skin and leave behind lean and tender meat. The sauce was perfectly sweet and salty.

A generous portion of Yasai Itame was as delicious. It’s fresh and crispy. I appreciate also they took out the onions and replaced it with more carrots.
