Bacolod Chicken Inasal, Ugong

To mitigate the calories in my meals everyday I make sure I take 10k steps or more. Thanks to my watch for assisting in tracking that for me. It was around 1400 steps going to Metrowalk and back from my office.

Inasal is one of my favorite ways of preparing Chicken. Its number of ingredients for marination and sauce for grilling makes it a unique and appetizing dish- when done right.

Today’s lunch wasn’t right. With the absence of vinegar and soy sauce my chicken was either bland or with charcoal taste. The sides were burnt and was frustrating to taste strong charcoal once in awhile. The chicken also seemed smaller.

The Gising Gising was way better. It was spiced up with a nice touch of strong coconut. It was also priced affordably at Php 89.
