A trip to Malate strip should include a nice sit down meal. What came to mind was the iconic Cafe Adriatico. We had late dinner here despite coming from an event at Conrad Manila.
The claim of best selling and famous Beef Salpicao is true. Theirs is probably the best version I’ve had in a long time. Soft, juicy and really tasty meat in garlic in a bed of garlic rice. At Php 495 you wouldn’t mind spending that.
Another good pick was Mango Flambe. Too bad they didn’t prepare it in front of us. I remember when I was young, they showcase it with lots of flame. A great combination of a hint of alcohol, sweet mangoes and vanilla ice cream.
I was asking for vegetables and they gladly prepared a basket of it for just Php 120. I am glad they can be flexible like that.
Don’t forget to have their famous Fried Adobo. We were suppose to have it but we just had the same dish for lunch on that day.
