On our first night in Dubai, I felt right away the cost of living here. Without much currency conversion in mind, we ended up having one expensive meal at 432 AED. That’s Php 6k for 4 in our currency. Blame it too on a very passionate, service oriented wait staff who was with us.
Eat Greek specializes in Kebabs and offers your other traditional favorites from their country. We got the set of four which includes beef, lamb, chicken and colorful mix of bell peppers. All their meats were seasoned well and tender. Truly appetizing.
Another one I loved was their Calamari. Not too much breading and mostly well flavored squids. Don’t forget to squeeze that lemon for an added kick. Meatballs were normal though, its meat lacking a bit of salt but found it packed without much fat.
Beetroot Salad had too much mayonnaise losing its fruity taste. Could also use more greens for texture and variation of taste.
Thanks to manager, who was Filipino for throwing in a free dessert on our table. Galaktoboureko. It is a Greek Custard filled Phyllo dessert. The girls with me enjoyed it. Sweetened right with a nice balance of crunch and fluffy filling.
