Epicurious, Libis

Wouldn’t it be convenient to have a go-to takeaway and dine in gourmet place for meats, dairy products, beverages, and desserts? Well, that’s what Epicurious is all about.

The brainchild behind this concept is The Cravings Group. After the success of its pilot branch in Shangri-La Plaza, comes another one in Eastwood to cater to the “foodistas” of Quezon City.

You can now rejoice as internationally sourced artisan products, including premium tea leaves, specialty coffee, handmade fresh pasta, various types of grains, cheeses, wine selections, and charcuterie are easily available. Not just that, they also take pride especially in their locally sourced ones.

As a food emporium, Epicurious is also the place where you can find not your usual small food items. There are gems here from marmalades, butter, dips, spreads, pate and mousse; fresh and preserved juices and water; finely selected oils, sauces and condiments.

On top of a market setting, Epicurious has prepared a sumptuous menu. Or you could pick anything they have and have it cooked or prepared for you on spot, how you like it, gourmet styled.

Check out their Quick Fix Lunches on your break and have a set of a sandwich, soup and drink of your choice for Php 450. Here are some of the picks: the light but filling Rosemary Chicken Caesar Salad (Php 300); the savory Barbecue Chicken Salad (Php 300); the gratifying Barbecue Chicken Sandwich (Php 320); and to really tame that hunger, the Pasta Plate (Php 270), with your choice of pasta and sauce.

For their mains (which come with the Soup of the Day), choose from their stuffing Rib Eye Steak with or without Mashed Potatoes (Php 850); a lighter option of Salmon with Side Vegetables and Mixed Greens (Php 620); The rice/carbs consumer-appealing Sausage with Rice/Bread and Tri-Color Slaw (Php 420); or for bigger groups, more portions, the Family Platter (Php 1,150); and Sausage Platter, which is best paired with either beer or wine (Php 810).

They got surmounting amount of sweets to choose from. We had loads of chocolate biscuits, and cakes like their Rainbow and Real Chocolate Cake. The latter, however needed more moisture to bring out its full richness!

Epicurious also offers catering services and entertaining packages to suit the needs of its clientele. As if that wasn’t enough, there are events to look forward to this coming January, with the Epic Classes to be held on selected Thursdays and Saturdays. Choose from Coffee 101, No Bake Dessert For Kids, Food Photography, Sushi Rolls Class, Cocktails Class, Pizza Making Class. More will be added in the coming months! It is really not your usual food destination.

We the media, were fortunate to witness this grand opening recently. Our team was able to feast with their prime selections via buffet set-up, join some fun fare contest and learn via wine 101 workshop paired with wine tasting.

Feeling curious now? Try the total foodie lifestyle experience with Epicurious. I took a pit stop at the newly opened branch at the third floor of Eastwood Mall, it’s your turn.
