Hap Chan, Don Bosco, Parañaque City

Our team had a kids outreach in the Bicutan area. It was automatic to land on a SM mall nearby. It was my first time to be here. Since most of the restaurants are mainstream or usual suspects, I went for the least popular, Hap Chan.

They just opened and this is evident with balloons on the outside and their very slow service. Food took awhile to complete and the place seemed under staffed with multiple calls needed to get waiters to visit our table. Worst part of this experience was a 15 minute waiting time to get our bill. So i walked in their counter and threatened to walk out.

Anyway, the food had its ups and downs. The best for me was the unusual Beef with Scrambled Egg. I am glad I ordered this. Eggs are fluffy and tasty with tender strips of good quality beef around it.

Braised Chicken had nice sweet seasoning to it but it seemed deep fried. Meat presence was also too thin on top of its cuts being too small. Dimsum picks were expected and fairly priced. Tofu though was too plain.

The Broccoli with Garlic lived its name with an equal amount of its main ingredients. A less greasy order would have made it better though.
