Meet Harvard

AlwaysHungry.PH chronicles my (Harvard Uy de Baron) journey of passion and curiosity towards good food. Upon waking up, I rush into dining either to a new place, or one of my go-to’s. The first thing I do outside my home everyday is eat!

The logo represents my Filipino-Chinese descent. The spoon and fork which resemble the letter H (as Hungry) stands for Filipino utensils, while chopsticks which form the A (as Always) stands for Chinese culture.

Currently I also lead an NGO for children called U! Happy Events. Our goal there is to provide sustainable support and teach values to marginalized children. We provide a platform for sponsors and volunteers to reach out to beneficiaries through creative and meaningful activities. Most of them are not always hungry, let us know if you wish to support.

Origins of my food reviews started by managing four restaurants. These are Sobremesa in Sapphire Bloc, Ortigas; Sangkap Fil-Asian Cuisine in Portico, Pasig; Ryu Ramen in SM Jazz Makati City; Tower Cafe in Makati City. Today, I am Zomato’s number 1 food reviewer in the Philippines and number 3 in the world (on number of reviews made).

Join me on this adventure! Collaborations, comments, suggestions, questions, and even invites are warmly welcomed.

Disclaimer: My reviews are based on personal preferences and on a number of factors which include food quality and quantity, pricing, ambiance and service.
