Josephine’s, Tagaytay

This place is always full and they’re definitely making a killing. Finally got to try it. At 330PM, we still had to wait for lunch. We know why.

We were a group of 5 and chose to pick 2 of their newest selections- Paella Negra and Crispy Pata Kare Kare. Paella was presented differently not in the usual plate. It was served like fried rice with toppings on top. Not bad for Php 450. Rice was soft and very tasty even without its toppings! The Crispy Pata Kare Kare though served plainly, is up there in best one of these anywhere. No need for Shrimp Paste, it was peanuty flavor filled. The meat complemented well. And yes, crispy!

The other 3 we had wasn’t that awesome but decent enough. Don’t order them though. Am sure we missed out on better choices. The Vietnamese Spring for 4 pieces was over priced at Php 180. It’s weird too that it had Chinese Chorizo! The Eggplant Omelette only stood out with Ketchup. Lastly, Mango Salsa- no comment! 😅
