Sambo Kojin, SM Megamall

It was on Valentines day when I went to Mega Clinic in Sm Megamall to have my scheduled annual physical exam. Afterwhich, I thought of rewarding myself with a treat after some fasting, and of course, to celebrate a lovely day. I toured around the mall and came across Sambo Kojin. For only Php650, I would get to eat to my heart’s content.

For the said price, I didn’t set my expectations too high. I’ve been thinking that I’ll be okay with just a couple of food selections, some decent meat choices, and an okay dessert lineup. But, much to my surprise, I was provided with a good number of Japanese and Korean dishes to choose from. They had meat carving and cooking stations, a variety of fruit shakes (that will be served to you), and an array of artisanal ice cream. You gotta try their Black Bean flavored one.

Best thing from the ensemble of dishes that they have that’s worth mentioning about are their grilled meats and fresh vegetables. You can tell from their taste that the lean meats are well marinated that they can stand on their own without the need for sauces. Their food choices are just excellent, I’ve never seen anything like that before. All of these for just Php650. Inside, I was beaming with glee.

Sambo Kojin’s customer service was also impeccable. Their staff accompanied me throughout my stay and they quickly attended to my needs. I didn’t even feel alone at all on my solitude lunch date with myself. The experience was definitely one for the books as I have dined in there like a king and enjoyed their food tremenduously. Thank you, Sambo Kojin for an awesome dining experience.
