While I was on a trip to Dubai, I have decided to meet up with a good friend of mine who happens to have lived there in the country for some years already. So we went to one of her favorite food stops, which is the Shakespeare and Co. Restaurant. We figured it’s the best place to dine into since they offer quite a number of dishes that are mostly European, of which I and my friend are both into.
The restaurant was just lovely. The ambience was giving off a vintage-y feel to it, making you feel like you’re some kind of royalty given the place’s elegance. This restaurant goes on the top of my list of best places to dine in in Dubai, and it’s definitely one of the highlights of my Dubai trip.
Everything we had in Shakespeare and Co. just didn’t disappoint. I liked their warm baked bread with pesto butter, as well as their tasty and egg-free chocolate cake.
Their grilled chicken salad was simply prepared yet every forkful of it was just rich in flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection, it was tender and very tasty too. The fresh greens was drizzled with a sour dressing that complemented the flavors in the salad too well.
Their shrimp and avocado sandwich was the best part of our dining experience. It had the right amount of stuffing to it, they didn’t scrimp on the shrimp or avocado, and each bite of the sandwich was just overwhelming with flavors. It was served together with crispy, flavorful fries.
Sipping on their warm cup of mocha with honey was just memorable for me. We also bought a couple of items here to bring home with us, one of which are chocolates creatively packed together with a coaster.
